Create the Feelings You Want In Any Presentation
If the mere thought of speaking in public is causing you heartache (and it’s something you have to do), consider:
What kind of impact will you have when you can speak confidently to any audience any time? (Even if this seems impossible right now, I can assure you that thousands of people have proved it over the past 20 years using the Communication Sorcery practices in my Speaking Sorcery program.)
How would you feel about speaking if you knew that you would always remember the words you want to say? (Remember what I said before about knowing how your brain works? It turns out that there’s a neurological reason for losing your words that happens to everyone! When you know how to work your brain, this will never happen to you again.)
How do you think your audience will feel about you—whether it’s a work conference or event, a community program or even a church function—when you connect with them from behind the mic as if they were those friends and family you feel so comfortable and authentic speaking to? (Maya Angelou wasn’t kidding when she said that “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” The good news is that connecting with any audience on a personal level is every bit as easy as speaking to friends and family when you know how to do it—and I can show you how.)
