Practicing cutting-edge conversation strategies in real-time exercises allows team members to deepen their ability to confidently address conflict and engage with colleagues, direct reports, prospects and clients in positive ways that generate measurable results.

This 16-hour course addresses the issues you face when you’re a part of a diverse or global team. Team members will deepen their cultural fluency—their ability to understand the norms, perspectives, cultural contexts and conversational cues of anyone whose culture differs from theirs, so they can respond in ways that contribute to effective conversation and collaboration.
This course is built to be adapted to address a variety of diversity issues that can be included in culture, including differences across generations, sexual orientation, ethnicity and gender. The practical, experiential and sustainable strategies in this course are applicable whether you’re communicating with a diverse group of clients or colleagues, traveling globally or simply in conference calls with a team or group of multi-cultural colleagues.
REVITALIZE YOUR PROBLEM-SOLVING
This 12-hour course will provide the team with a breakthrough strategy to address business performance problems with a sustainable process to achieve organizational objectives. This course capitalizes on Edward De Bono’s idea that “Sometimes the situation is only a problem because it is looked at a certain way. Looked at another way, the right course of action may be so obvious that the problem no longer exists.”
Using cutting-edge reinvention strategies the team will discover how to shift from the usual lengthy “problem-focused” discussions—that waste time and create unnecessary conflict—to a more visual and “outcome-focused” structure that helps them to map out their business objective, the obstacle they face (the “problem”) and the contribution required by each member—in a fraction of the time.

Based on the research-backed negotiation strategy of The Harvard Negotiation Project, this course integrates real-world application with our signature Simple Shifts to provide you and your team with a unique blueprint for maneuvering through the stages of any negotiation: as you prepare for it, engage in it, complete it and move forward with agreement.
In the second half of the course, the you will have the opportunity use a practice scenario—based on your unique circumstances—using what you have learned in class to identify and address your likely barriers to success as you negotiate with each other in structured breakout sessions.
The greatest learning takes place in the debrief, when you and your team identify what worked, what didn’t and WHY. This allows you to build a personalized action plan for future negotiating based on your experience in a real-time negotiation.

This 8-hour course is designed for anyone who is ready to discover the one strategy that eliminates speaking anxiety for good.
